I’m Max. I’ve been a videogame player since the 70s when the first home version of PONG was available. Christmas season of 1980 was spent playing countless hours of Asteroids and Space Invaders. The first thing I ever paid for with my allowance was Colecovision because I needed, NEEDED, a version of Donkey Kong that looked comparable to the arcade version. I memorized Dragons Lair at the local arcade to the point where other people dolled out quarters to watch me defeat Singe!
I was there when the videogame industry went tits up, and I was sad. But I was also there when those beautiful tits came back with the release of the NES, and I was happy! I majored in Zelda and Metroid my first year of college.
So, in short…..I’m old. But, forgive me for that, will ya?!
